Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in Vishal Bharadwaj's 2 States

Shah Rukh Khan nad Priyanka Chopra have been roped in as leads in Vishal Bhardwaj's adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's 2 States. Earlier in 2010, she was selected for the lead actress role but Shah Rukh Khan suggested to cast a new face.  But now it looks the king khan is convinced to have her in this role. He not only insisted to have Priyanka for this role but also convinced her to give a try to it.

The fact that she is a punjabi girl and the role which she is going to play is of a south indian girl with tamilian accent. Cornering up all the odds the versatile director Vishal Bharadhwaj believed that Priyanka has all the require stuff in her to do justice with her role. 

2 States is coming on floors in late 2012 under able direction of Vishal Bharadwaj.
