In our post on 16th June we talked about Box-Office Bonanza. In that week around eight films released and leaving Bheja Fry-2 most of these either went unnoticed or nose-dived.
The brand value did magic for Bheja Fry-2 and was able to pull audience in the theaters, but the magic spell could not continue for second week and lead to low foot-falls thus contributing to a sum of around 8 crores. Even Shallu ke thumke couldn't save save Bin Bulaye Baraati and it become flop. Bhindi Bazaar went unnoticed and the much hyped Shahrukh Khan production's Always Kabhi Kabhi proved to be a disaster on box-office. All of the three were not able to cross 3 crore mark.
Now lets talk about another brand Salman Khan, despite being in third week his movie Ready was able to make a collection of 13 crore which is higher than the combined collection of 5 movies Bheja Fry-2, Always Kabhi Kabhi, Bhindi Bazaar, Bin Bulaaye Baraati, Cycle Kick.
